For me it would be hands down LotR, every Sherlock novel by Conan Doyle, the lovely The Hounds of the D'Ubervilles and A series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.
I also like reading criminal novels in general, but I'm not as fond of some of the scandinavian authors.
Tell me some of your favorite reads?

Oh lordie. I have so many books I love. XD Harry Potter series will always be my love but there are so many others I adore.
She walks in grace, is amazing.
Black Beauty.
The Hunger Games is a tad boring but it's suspenseful.
Of course, A Study in Scarlet will always be my favorite by Doyle <3 :D
Fallen is another good series.
Blood Lines is good as well. XD
I just started the Percy Jackson series but I don't like it that much.
Midnight in Paris. XD Guilty as charged.
Bridge to Tarribithia. XD I read it as a kid and it's always been one of my favorites since.
xD And lastly, Psych Investigation series is the bomb. :3

i adore 'this book will save your life' which is, contrary to what the title implies, not a book aimed to save your life. it's fiction. the obvious ones would be harry potter and the hunger games. seriously, harry will always have a small part of my heart ♥

The Hound of the D'Urbervilles, the His Dark Materials series, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Good Omens, American Gods, all the Sherlock Holmes stories, Harry Potter series (though Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite), The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.
There are a lot more, but it'd take a while to list them.
